Abbey founded Hawai‘i FEAST in 2017. In addition to community organizing, she works as a professional urban and regional planner. She also enjoys academic and creative writing, and recently published her first book Perseverance Flooded the Streets.
Mark Rico, Program Manager
Mark joined the Hawai‘i FEAST team in 2019. Mark, who was raised in Hilo, is passionate about engaging his community through artwork. He also enjoys sharing his love of surfing with future generations through his resin craftsmanship and surfboard fabrication.
